Deion Sanders, a former football and baseball star with an illustrious career, opens up about getting Botox for the first time at age 50. He recently discussed his results on Entertainment Tonight.

“I feel great!” he exclusively tells ET’s Darla Murray.

“50 is the new 21. I feel young, I feel very energetic, I feel like taking on the world, I feel like challenging people to work out, to live right, to eat healthy, to make the proper decisions in life. I really feel good. I am in a really good place in life.”

Statistics show that more men are opting to get “Brotox” to give them a competitive edge in the workplace. Others simply want to look their best, and have an appearance that better matches their energy and youthful outlook. Men have stronger facial muscles than women, particularly in the area between the brows, and they may appear to be frowning or scowling, even when they’re not. Forehead lines, also known as “surprise” lines (visible when lifting the eyebrows) become deeper over time, until they are present even when the face is at rest.

Botox relaxes the underlying muscle to soften lines and wrinkles, and will keep the area smooth while still allowing for normal expression. Regular treatments may also “future proof” the appearance by preventing dynamic lines and wrinkles from deepening. Good news for anyone wanting to look younger, longer!
